SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES
The Galliard International Review is not accepting any literary submissions at the moment.
GUIDELINES:
- The Galliard International Review only accepts work from poets ages 13-22.
- For our SPRING 2021 Issue, we are only accepting works from women, LGBTQ+, or BIPOC writers.
- There is no location restriction, anyone anywhere in the world can submit. Make sure to specify your country in the submission form; you may include your state or region, but this is not necessary.
- Please submit files in the form of .pdf, .doc, .docx.
- Only ONE poem or prose is allowed in a file per submission form. We allow up to 5 forms to be submitted within a reading period.
- Poems must not exceed more than 30 lines, prose must be less than 3 pages.
- We ask that the poem/prose is in English; translated works are permitted.
- If needed, please make sure your work is formatted in its ideal form (ex. shaped in a pattern) when submitting.
- We ask for work that have not been published in any other literary or poetry journal. Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please let us know if it is accepted somewhere else as soon as possible.
- Please do not submit work that is intolerant of other cultures, religions, or people, or outwardly inappropriate. It will not get accepted.
- We will notify you of your acceptance status within a month of the submission period's end date.
Authors Rights:
By contributing to the Galliard International Review, you agree that your submitted poems and/prose are original and that you are the sole copyright owner. Your poem and/or prose must be previously unpublished, including in any book, literary journal/review, social media, or internet form. You must authorize the publication of your work(s) in our quarterly issue, which may be displayed on other platforms including social media and the Galliard International Review website indefinitely. All of our writers and contributors retain rights to their own work, however, if your accepted poem and/or prose is mentioned elsewhere, we ask that you cite us as its first publisher.
